Current status: Former featured article candidate |
Open finance was nominated as a Social sciences and society good article, but it did not meet the good article criteria at the time (July 20, 2024, reviewed version). There are suggestions on the review page for improving the article. If you can improve it, please do; it may then be renominated. |

Hello Fintechfraser and thanks for all your improvements to this article. However, despite the improvements, the article fails criterion 2b since there are too many unreferenced paragraphs. Examples are the paragraphs starting with "The concept of Open Finance arose", "The CDR is designed to foster competition", and "The European Union's approach to open finance is guided". According to criterion 2b, these passages require inline citations "no later than the end of the paragraph". Additionally, the article also has the maintenance template "Original research" at the top. I suggest that you add all the relevant references and address the maintenance template before a renomination.
A few other observations
- WP:EARWIG detects no copyvios
- Open Finance refers to the concept and practice expressions like "refers to" should be avoided in the first sentence, see MOS:REFERS
- In July 2022, Colombia has published Decree 1,297 remove "has"

Open Finance or open finance?
editOpen banking article uses lower case letters (open banking, not Open Banking). Is there a reason to use upper case letters here? Blakocha (talk) 12:54, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- Good shout - I've updated this throughout. Fintechfraser (talk) 20:26, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

Unfortunately this article has not seen many improvements since its last GAN with unsourced paragraphs, and some suspicious sources. The article seems to be completely AI written, with nearly no hyperlinks. This article is a far way from being a successful GA. Failing. 750h+ 08:42, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
