OSINT projects in United States

edit

"The US is the birth place to one of the most advanced capabilities in conducting OSINT for usernames. The leading community backed capability currently available is UserSearch. It claims to offer the most robust Search Engine for Usernames, with supporting capabilities in emails and phone numbers. It's noted to provide reverse username searches for over 400 social networks and online communities, which is double that of any other Reverse Username capability online, including charged services. It claims to be free and community focused."

This reads like an advert. I think it should be removed. Bobazoom (talk) 10:47, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

OSINT and privacy?

edit

I was looking to find information on OSINT and privacy concerns which must be there with the incredible amount of information individuals, corporations, parties or governments can receive on other individuals with it. Was surprised, that there is nothing on Wikipedia and didn't find a lot with other sources, too. Maybe, someone could add a paragraph and some good sources for that. (: Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Carroll D. (talkcontribs) 12:34, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
