Order of Battle

edit

I am writing to inform you of an error in your Order of Battle for the 16th Corps Support Group. The 181st Transportation Battalion was not deployed to the Gulf for Operation Desert Shield or Desert Storm. The 4th Transportation Battalion from Ludwigsburg, Germany was the transportation battalion under the 16th Support Group. I know this because I was the 4th Transportation Battalion Commander during this time frame, and the 4th Transportation Battalion was awarded a Meritorious Unit Citation for its service during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

16th Corps Support Group

    13th Support Battalion
    181st Transportation Battalion
    300th Service & Support Battalion

Any assistance you can give by correcting this error, would be greatly appreciated.

Map with location of battles

edit

The map gives a good overview about the movement of the divisions but what I am missing is the location of the major battles (73 Easting, Medina Ridge, Norfolk, but also the minor ones like Al Busayyah, Phase Line Bullet, Jalibah Airfield). The articles about these battles mostly have coordinates so with these one can get a sense of their relative position to each other, but one would have a far better orientation concerning these battles if one could see them next to each other on a map. Would it be possible that someone create such a map or add the battle locations on the map we have? Would also be a great addition for the battle articles.
