- Oxford Book of Tudor Anthems → The Oxford Book of Tudor Anthems
- Oxford Book of English Madrigals → The Oxford Book of English Madrigals
– The applies to a few books across the Category:Oxford University Press books:
- The definite article is in the book title,
- The definite article is used on the book cover, and is used by the publisher
- WP:NCTHE - "The definite or indefinite article is sometimes included in the official title of literary works as well as other kinds of fiction and non-fiction publications and works such as newspapers, films and visual artworks. In this case, the article should be included in the name of the corresponding Wikipedia article as well."
- There is inconsistency in naming Wikipedia articles across the OUP category; some use the definite article, others do not. I move for consistent naming conventions with the article.
- Note: The previous move request was closed only due to lack of interest to reach consensus. I'm re-opening it again in the hope of renewed interest on the back of a separate but similar discussion on (The) Oxford Book of Carols article. Cnbrb (talk) 17:55, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Support, the correct proper names of the books, and per nom. Randy Kryn (talk) 11:57, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Support – While I do not know that a blanket decision can be made for all articles in the OUP books category while remaining compliant with our guidelines, the fact that the definite article is consistently used for these particular books and is included in their official titles (as the term is understood in WP:NCTHE) means that such a decision can and must be made in this case.
- I should also clarify that the previous discussion was not closed for lack of consensus. I made several similar technical requests that were contested, resulting in several separate and concurrent RM discussions (which I had not bargained on), so I withdrew those requests which had not yet been commented on so as to ensure that I could devote myself to the discussions. 142.161.81.20 (talk) 20:50, 23 December 2017 (UTC)
