Laid up information is incorrect
editThe article says the ship was laid up from 1995 to 1997. This is incorrect because four of us traveled to Freeport on this ship on 6/15/1996, and returned the following weekend. I checked the pictures I have to verify this.

- The sources used in this article clearly state the ship was laid up in 1995-1997. If you can provide a verifiable source which indicates this is incorrect, the article should be amended. However, I have to point out the sources used here area widely respected, well-researched website and a book by a notable Finnish maritime historian. It is certainly possible that both of them are mistaking, but the evidence to the contrary should be pretty strong for a source to be more believable than the ones currently in use. — Kjet (talk · contribs) 11:27, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
Car lift / ramp
editThe article states that before and after the lengthening the car deck was accessed by a lift. However looking at the deckplans available on http://www.hhvferry.com/deckplans the 1964 version ( http://www.hhvferry.com/ilmatar1964_dpx.html ) has the lift shown. The 1970s version ( http://hhvferry.com/Ilmatarlate_dpts.jpg ) shows a ramp to the car deck on the opposite side of the ship. Markxz (talk) 18:38, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
