Peter Mathiesen (clockmaker) → Peter Mathiesen – There is only one actual "Peter Mathiesen" in Wikipedia; the redirect to Peter Matthiessen is from a misspelling, which I would suggest should not be deemed primary over the correct spelling of another person's actual name. - Support per nomination. Such name differences are handled via hatnotes, not through parenthetical qualifiers attached to unique names. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 05:08, 9 February 2021 (UTC)

- Support per nom. When this new article was created this past August, it could and should have been written right over the old redirect from 2007. Station1 (talk) 09:44, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
