Recreation and sources
editThis article currently is similar to the version that was deleted in July 2009 per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Peter and Catharine Whyte Hut. The main difference is that the article now cites this source, which is not independent of the subject – the Alpine Club of Canada maintains the hut – but does provide significant coverage of it (see especially pp. 5–7). Additional sourcing can include:
- link — Calgary goes skiing: a history of the Calgary Ski Club, David Mittelstadt
- link — Powder Pioneers: Ski Stories from the Canadian Rockies and Columbia Mountains, Chic Scott
- link — The American Alpine Journal, American Alpine Club, Christian Beckwith
I was tempted to flag the article for deletion under criterion G4, but refrained from doing so due to these sources and the low level of participation in the 2.5-year-old discussion. -- Black Falcon (talk) 20:37, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
