PhosphoranePhosphoranesRelisted. Vegaswikian (talk) 02:39, 3 January 2011 (UTC) This article is about the chemical class of phosphoranes, not the parent hydride ergo, the current title is deceptive. --Plasmic Physics (talk) 00:17, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Disagree. PH5 is either unknown or of fleeting existence, so there is no problem with keeping the article this way. Less confusing to readers, who have no interest in hair-splitting. You have not demonstrated the abiity to develop the appropriate article, in my opinion. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:21, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

"The unstable molecule PH5"

edit

I was under the impression that it was not even known, despite numerous attempts to make it. Perhaps my information is outdated, but then I would greatly appreciate a citation to that effect. Double sharp (talk) 15:01, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I dont think that it is known either. Or even detected. That's why the article refers to it as "unstable" but maybe a better adjective would be "hypothetical". --Smokefoot (talk) 16:57, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
OK, I've changed it to "hypothetical". Double sharp (talk) 03:24, 14 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
