Merging contestants' articles

I've nominated all of the contestants' articles (except the Big/Final Four) to be merged here. Reasons:

• If a page is very short and cannot or should not be expanded terribly much, it often makes sense to merge it with a page on a broader topic.
• Also, much of material from the contestants' articles were directly lifted this website, so it would be copyright violations, but instead of deleting them altogether,lets just put them all here, just like what they did with Big Brother UK series 6. Howard the Duck 17:01, 9 January 2006 (UTC)

I think the best way to give sections to all the housemates is to write the most significant events (I forgot the better term) that they have inside the house. Maybe I'll contribute something later. - 上村七美 13:17, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Copy and pasted the contestant's articles already. Looked for NPOV entries and had them edited. Perhaps I've missed some of them so anyone can correct them. Also, we should have a chronology section. Howard the Duck 07:28, 5 February 2006 (UTC)

Contestant's Own Page

I think every contestant should have their own page/articles by now since the Season 1 of Pinoy Big Brother is over and they are all individual celebrities now. As for "copyright violations" case, I think we should remove the About him and Favorites section rather than merging the contestant's article to Pinoy Big Brother, Season 1 13:35, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

I would still want all of the names of contestants to be redirected here. First, they're too short to have their own articles, and almost all of them were copy and pasted from the website provided. If the articles would be improved significantly then they'd deserve their own article. But as of know, I'd like them to be merge here. Also, why was the notice removed? The issue wasn't decided yet. Separation from main article page

Since some contestants may have been notable already, lets organize a staw poll on which housemate will get his/her own page. Note that Wikipedia is not a democracy so even if there are lots (and I mean LOTS) of votes but no consensus the proposal can't be done. --Howard the Duck | talk, 09:36, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

I think, aside from Nene, the only one who deserves to have his own page was Sam. From his stint in PBB, his popularity shot high enough to cut his own album. But I may be wrong. - 上村七美 | talk 16:16, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Technically (if you see the other BB articles), the other placers are evicted from the House, leaving the winner inside and getting out of it too. But, it's just my opinion. - 上村七美 | talk 10:55, 30 June 2007 (UTC)

– This move is part of an ongoing series of individual RMs to align the naming convention of WP:BIGBRO to match the guidelines established by WP:NCTV.

Seasons 3-8 currently are named by their subtitles which is acceptable by WP:NCTV while the first two seasons are using the default guidelines of WP:NCTV. The guidelines of WP:NCTV recommends a consistent naming pattern and not mixing the two. The actual name of the second season is Pinoy Big Brother: Season 2 as evident by the logo for the season in the article. In this article from the broadcaster ABS-CBN they clarified the names of all seasons from 2005-2015. In the article they retroactively named the first season Pinoy Big Brother: Season 1. In this proposal I'm suggesting we make the disambiguation "(season #)" the subtitle for the first two main seasons. This way they will align with seasons three-eight which have the subtitles Double Up, Unlimited, All In, 737, Lucky 7 and Otso respectively. Alucard 16_{❯❯❯ chat?} 23:14, 18 January 2019 (UTC)

• Weak support. This one is basically a WP:CONSISTENCY argument, and while that's nice, I'm not sure it's "required" in this case.
