Pizzicato Five™ → Pizzicato Five (album) – It appears to have caught on among English-speakers for some reason the ™ appearing on the packaging of the original edition of the Japanese album is part of the album's title. If one looks at any Japanese-language sources, that it clearly not the case; it is simply self-titled as Pizzicato Five. The Japanese article makes no mention of the trademark symbol, nor does the Nippon Columbia page for the album, the Tower Records page for the original edition or that for the reissue. - Support per MOS:®: "Do not use the ™ and ® symbols, or similar, in either article text or citations, unless unavoidably necessary for context." That also applies in article titles. — BarrelProof (talk) 06:06, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- The current title also violates WP:TSC. — BarrelProof (talk) 17:15, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- I'd be inclined to support this but 2 of the citations I checked do imply that the "TM" is part of the title though in the 1st citation it appears in brackets. Crouch, Swale (talk) 09:01, 29 August 2021 (UTC)
- Support. No evidence that the trademark symbol is part of the name. JIP | Talk 19:01, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
