Proposed renaming.
editThe name of this article "Pompallier Mission" seems to be inaccurate.
The building being described was part of a larger compound built by French missionaries at Kororareka/Russell. According to the Historic Places Trust links given, "This French factory was built in pioneer New Zealand to print Maori language books for the Roman Catholic Mission" and was not the mission itself (I recall tour guides emphasizing something along these lines, July 2007).
The register at the Historic places trust gives the names "Pompallier" and "Pompallier House", but does not list P.Mission as a name.[1]
I note that "Pompallier House" currently redirects to P.Mission. Unless someone can provide an authoritative reference to suggest otherwise, I propose that this should be reversed, ie. the page renamed P.House (with appropriate editing elsewhere) and P.Mission having the redirect.
