Error in table
editI don't know how to correct this error or else I'd do it myself. The table shows that the Hoboken station is located in Jersey City, when it's located within the City of Hoboken. Can someone correct it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 26point2 (talk • contribs) 01:54, 8 July 2005 (UTC)
Another Table Error - 2 train
editThe IRT 2 train on the New York City Subway system has never stopped at Cortlandt Street station near World Trade Center. I tried to fix this mistake, but on the editing page, it has listed (1 and 2) 1 and 2 as the trains that normally stop at this station. I understand that the 2 train does serve as a local train during late nights, but after the Chambers Street station, it continues onto the Brooklyn Branch, not in the direction of South Ferry. There needs to be a different code for the 1 trains continuing on the Broadway Line after Chambers Street station. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yorkiano (talk • contribs) 23:13, 30 June 2007
Split?
edit@Epicgenius: The article is long enough that I wonder whether the history section should be split into its own article. Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 18:51, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
- @Kew Gardens 613, good question. Currently the article is "only" 58 kilobytes of readable prose size, which per WP:SIZERULE is not overly large (there certainly are larger articles, like Rockefeller Center, which use summary style but are still pretty long). However, there are probably also a lot of historical details that can be added, so it may be a good idea to split the history section to a new article in the future, especially if/when the Newark Airport extension gets built. – Epicgenius (talk) 19:07, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
