Do we really need two articles? There is only one paragraph of unique content in this article (i.e., on trials other than the tribunals). Srnec (talk) 20:51, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Yes. To make it clear that the trials did not stop with the People's Tribunals, that the latter were but a part, even if the main part. Also, I considered remaking the People's Tribunals article, using the sources you see here, linked books that are immediately accessible. I could not verify the sources in the People's Tribunals article, but also as a matter of principle I don't delete sourced content. So, new article it is. And besides, it's just neat to have everything in one place. Transylvania1916 (talk) 15:54, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
- It really needs more on the other trials to justify itself. I'm not saying it's not a valid topic, but as it stand it mostly just competes with other articles. (You cannot create a second article merely because you don't want to edit the existing one.) Srnec (talk) 04:00, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- You're right. I recently downloaded the "Final Report" of the 2004 Wiesel Commission, it contains plenty in the way of material on the other trials. Will add content next week. Transylvania1916 (talk) 21:41, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

Crimes against humanity category removal
editCrimes against humanity is a specific legal concept. In order to be included in the category, the event (s) must have been prosecuted as a crime against humanity, or at a bare minimum be described as such by most reliable sources. Most of the articles that were formerly in this category did not mention crimes against humanity at all, and the inclusion of the category was purely original research.
