Notability?

edit

I tried looking for independent, reliable sources on this organisation, but I mostly came up dry. A search on Google Scholar brought up 48 results,[1] although most of these were Czech and Slovak sources discussing the concept of direct action, and some included mentions of the French militant group Action Directe. The sources I found that actually talk about the organisation are now in the bibliography and further reading, but these aren't encouraging either.

Daniel 2020 goes into a fair bit of depth, but not about the organisation itself; he mostly discusses their magazine Žerme bohatých and talks about its reporting on strike actions. I don't have access to Bastl 2010, so can't attest to whether it gives PA significant coverage. The theses don't provide much more detail either: Bydžovská 2011 quotes a PA article about employment law; Maša 2009 and Žárský 2011 mentions that their work is sometimes republished by the Czechoslovak Anarchist Federation (CSAF); Mikušovič 2009 mentions theirs and the CSAF's involvement in anti-fascism; and Siegel & van der Voorst 2012 mention (in a footnote) that they supported Vrije Bond's campaign against a Dutch employment agency. All of these are passing mentions, not indicative of significant coverage.

I've tried looking further into this organisation, but came up with very little outside of their own statements; according to the IWA's own membership figures, they only had 10 members in 2018, so this appears to be more a small publishing group than a genuine organisation. The remaining citations, which were already cited, appear to be press releases giving generic policy statements. As there doesn't appear to be significant coverage of this organisation, I think this article could pretty safely be redirected to IWA–AIT. --Grnrchst (talk) 15:00, 21 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Is there some text to potentially merge there? Currently IWA-AIT does not mention Priama akcia, which would be necessary to justify the redirect. czar 12:48, 27 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
I added a couple sentences based on Daniel 2020. --Grnrchst (talk) 09:45, 31 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
