This article is written in Australian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, realise, program, labour (but Labor Party)) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus. |

The result of the move request was: Moved. (non-admin closure) – Ammarpad (talk) 06:34, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Privatization in Australia → Privatisation in Australia – This article focused on privatization that happened in Australia. However, per MOS:TIES and WP:ENGVAR, Australia predominantly use spelling ise (used by UK, NZ and most Commonwealth member countries) rather than ize (use by America, Canada, Oxford), so the correct name in Australia is Privatisation 182.1.54.249 (talk) 03:39, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Mikus (talk) 04:56, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support because Australia use a English variant that predominantly use ise spelling, same as British English and New Zealand English rather than ize so MOS:TIES applies here. Smitehati doesn't knowledge the article that focused in Australia use spelling of particular country. 36.77.95.46 (talk) 06:28, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support per MOS:TIES and this article need to be rewritten in order to comply with Australian English spelling variant, which mostly similar as the United Kingdom. 114.125.252.85 (talk) 14:00, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support An Australian-related article should use Australian spelling. Rreagan007 (talk) 20:20, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
- Comment In a first step for rename the title which need to comply with Australian spelling rules, i rewritten many of sentences that previously use -ize spelling, which rarely used in Australia. many examples are:
- Realize -> Realise
- privatization -> privatisation
- Because this article focused on privatisation that happen in Australia which predominantly use -ise spelling (and keep "program" since it is retain in Australian spelling) i Support for move because MOS:TIES applies here. i hope any editors can not just rename the article, but also rewrite this article according to Australian spelling convention. 36.77.93.215 (talk) 22:12, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
