editThe word "debate" should certainly not be capitalized according to Wikipedia article title rules, and it's highly doubtful whether "flag" should be either (unless there's some flag design commonly known as the "Prospect Hill Flag"). The word "controversy" might also be more suitable than the word debate. AnonMoos (talk) 07:36, 26 June 2024 (UTC)
- It was called the "Prospect Hill Flag Debate" in the headline of one of those newspaper articles that have been cited. But if more experienced editors feel that "Prospect Hill Flag Controversy" will work better than I don't mind. Robbiegibbons (talk) 06:55, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Newspaper headlines have different conventions than Wikipedia article titles. See WP:TITLE (subsection "10.1 Use sentence case")... AnonMoos (talk) 18:47, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- What about the "Flag on Prospect Hill Debate" as another option? Robbiegibbons (talk) 03:19, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

- You're still not using sentence case. That means that only the first word in the title is automatically capitalized, while the subsequent words are only capitalized if there's a specific valid reason for them to be (if they're proper names, etc). AnonMoos (talk) 00:48, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- If a moderator who is able to wants to rename the article "Flag on Prospect Hill debate" then that sounds OK to me. Robbiegibbons (talk) 01:55, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
