online version?
editI removed a link to an online version at http://penelope.uchicago.edu/pseudodoxia/pseudodoxia.shtml since the link was dead. [[User:GK|gK ¿?]] 07:25, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- I replaced this link to online version as it IS still available. Norwikian195.10.45.217
Before, I was getting a 404 error, now I'm getting a "Forbidden" error. The link still has problems. gK ¿? 04:19, 10 Jan 2005 (UTC)

E.J. Merton or E.S. Merton?
editWhich shall in verity be he? Varlaam (talk) 03:09, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- The missing reference is almost certainly the book 'Science and imagination in Sir Thomas Browne' by Egon Stephen Merton, ISBN 978-0404043124. I'm not going to order a copy just to make sure, though... 84.108.246.128 (talk) 19:47, 23 July 2019 (UTC)
I dug into this following the chain of DOI references utlimately realizing that this comes from the book "Sir Thomas Browne: A Study in Religious Philosophy" by William Dunn (Chapter 3, Section 6 "Symbolism of the Garden of Cyrus", Pg 131) and added a citation. Bad link to "An Alphabetical Table"
editIn the "See Also" section, there is a link to An Alphabetical Table. This link seems to attempt to go to a page titled Pseudodoxia Epidemica An Alphabetical Table, which contains an error message of "Wikisource does not have a text with this exact name." 2601:600:A401:83E0:41CD:C987:FF69:1B9D (talk) 09:25, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
- The linked page has a hatnote saying that the text was deleted in March 2024 as it was an "unsourced text; apparently user-compiled and/or edited". I will therefor remove the links from this article. GrindtXX (talk) 11:30, 31 August 2024 (UTC)
