Nice
editI meant to suggest this name change as the page remained on my watchlist once after I mistakenly redirected the page once. I saw it happen so many times. This is a good change. We should try to expand this article. IvoShandor 20:16, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Breeding Season
editThe article says: "Breeding season normally occurs between December and March". Since their range extends into the Southern Hemisphere, is the breeding period the same regardless of season?195.213.30.165 (talk) 11:51, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
- A very good question. The text follows the source given which says nothing about the location. However, it appears the Mar-Dec refers to the northern hemisphere as this page at animaldiversity.org says "Mating throughout the year, in northern parts of their range mating is more concentrated from December to March". That section could do with better sources in general. — Jts1882 | talk 13:22, 21 January 2021 (UTC)
Distance or area?
editThe article says "Individuals cover a large home range searching for food, covering a distance around 80 mi² during the summers"
What does it mean to "cover a distance" expressed in the units of area? Does it mean to move around area of 80 mi²? Is it a value per day, or the overall area visited during a summer? 129.7.0.37 (talk) 21:59, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
