"128-year history"?
editThe citation for this claim leads to a registration-only website, so I'm deleting it. But the claim itself is suspect: the team's website refers to several years when the area had no team, or when a new team moved there. So how old exactly is this particular franchise? --Chancemichaels 13:44, 13 August 2007 (UTC)Chancemichaels
- Just to confirm - this team was started in 1960. The deleted "128 years" referred to the entirety of minor league baseball in Davenport. That should be clear in the article now. --Chancemichaels 17:41, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Chancemichaels
Question: What constitutes a "Notable" Player?
editBasically, there are several former River Bandits players who are playing on the Cardinals right now (Shelby Miller, Trevor Rosenthal, Joe Kelly, etc). How many MLB games does a guy need to play before he is a "notable player"? Can Brett Wallace be added now? He's played 224 MLB games. Help me understand where to draw the line here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.81.0.28 (talk) 04:07, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not sure of specific criteria guidelines. Personally I think appearing in 1 major league game makes you notable; also if they have an article on here. CTF83! 09:57, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Baseball notability guidelines also say 1 MLB game. CTF83! 10:00, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

editCan we fix the colors of the River Bandits? They're blue now. RingoSB (talk) 02:28, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
- @RingoSB: Done. Thanks for pointing that out. NatureBoyMD (talk) 03:01, 8 April 2023 (UTC)
