"undefaced" flag?

One of the photos is captioned as an "undefaced Red Ensign" flown in July 2014. Why is it important to note that the flag is "undefaced"? Did I miss something in the article? Elsquared (talk) 08:16, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

It's worth noting that 'defaced' has no pejorative meaning when it comes to flags - it just means that something has been added. In this case, the flag of Bermuda on land is a Red Ensign defaced with the Bermudian coat of arms, but it turns out that the same isn't true at sea, so the QM2 flies the same plain Red Ensign as when it was registered in the UK. 2011 Royal Rendezvous

Pandemic

Done. And by that, I mean I have edited the article so the suspension date reads "November 2021", and the cited source is updated, but without including any information about the Torquay location. Section needed: 16 people died on the Queen Mary II on new wider gangway in 2021

Plus 32 people were hurt. It was an overloaded gangway. Ton of articles out there, the death toll kept rising for a while. Lowest number I saw was 11, so probably 11 people died instantly. This first link is the highest number I saw, and the BBC article has some details some of the other articles don't cover.

Stop before going to Australia

A small correction to article re Covid QM2 stopped briefly at Port Klang Malaysia where people could disembark but not return to the ship. Some fuel was taken aboard but insufficient for the voyage to Australia. • "only ocean liner in service" point not included (or explained) in body. There is a separate "only" point in the second paragraph which I'm also not sure is in the body. Are these related? The tone of the article piqued my interest, but not enough that I'm sure it is a serious concern. Similarly, quite a few primary sources, but within the context of a lot of secondary sources reflecting similar points. The Bibliography seems out of date, but not a GACR issue.
