Upcoming Opening & Revision to "Former" Station
editThe existing Raleigh station (Amtrak) article with be mis-titled as of June 4th, when the Union Station opens as the Amtrak station in Raleigh. Readers looking for the Amtrak station should be sent here, while the existing station will only be of historical interest (within this article?) or as a separate article like "Southern Railway Raleigh Station" What to do? - The simple solution is to redirect Raleigh station (Amtrak) to this article on June 4th once everything is updated here. The predecessor stations should remain in the History section since they are 1-3 paragraphs each. I will fix all wikimedia commons related links around that time. --WashuOtaku (talk) 15:56, 2 May 2018 (UTC)
Opening July 10
editThis article from Railway Age says that the station will be open on July 10. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 04:58, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
- It could be July 10th now, the June 27th came from the local newspaper dated a day before the one you are referencing. --WashuOtaku (talk) 12:03, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
