Yeah, this articles needs help big time. There are point of view problems, and nothing is cited. I especially like this line:

"Most of these fears seem to stem from exaggerated news coverage as well as an unreasonable fear of urban communities held by many suburbanites"

Anyone around interested in better up this article? Bl4h (talk) 16:34, 2 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I just happened to stumble upon this article while doing a systematic revision of all Pennsylvania school districts, and it seems like this one is written like a promotional piece. I can remove all of the content that seems promotional. BML0309 16:30, 8 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Cleanup Template Reasoning

edit

Major article revision and cleanup needs to be made to this article. One major concern is that there is now a Reading Intermediate High School, which 9th and 10th graders now attend. Reading Intermediate High School should also have its own article. There are certain sections of the article that are not written with a neutral point of view (Ex: Marching Band section). The article does not offer citations, is poorly written, has opinionated statements ("The hot weather is nothing to these dedicated students."), contains unneeded specific details, and much more.--Joel amos —Preceding undated comment added 01:44, 17 December 2010 (UTC).Reply

Reading High Baseball Stadium

edit

Outside the baseball stadium lies an old school bus that was once operated by the Reading School District. It's a late-1980s Thomas Conventional with an International S-1800 chassis, and it has a seating capacity of 65-66 passengers. It had the SCHOOL BUS sign, warning lights, STOP sign, and cross arm taken off, but it still has the unit number and wording on the sides. I don't remember what number it is, though. --Vampire Snuffleupagus (talk) 15:15, 20 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I wonder if it still runs or not. They may have wanted to keep it for exhibition, but usually when a bus meets its demise, it gets taken to the crusher. --Robby the Robot (talk) 15:35, 24 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I hope there's a school bus museum nearby that can pick it up. --Doerrman (talk) 14:50, 2 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
