Javier Solís was born in Mexico; of that there is no doubt. Most bios cite him as being born in Mexico City but others like placing him in other Mexican cities or states because fans want to own him. He did have an affinity for Puerto Rico and his song, En Mi Viejo San Juan helped to have people there claim the reverse.
I will not challenge the statement for one week but will remove the statement unless Wikipedia:Verifiability/verifiable proof can be found. Morenooso 01:21, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
Translations are fickle subject to idiomatic usage
editAs with English, Spanish words have many connotations. To say one word is better than another or that mine makes more sense without discussion is not civil. Please discuss changes. Morenooso 01:23, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
