edit- Copied from Talk:U.S._Congressional_Delegations_from_Puerto_Rico: "For the purposes of uniformity, I don't think we should eliminate<EDIT: Or simply redirect> this page in favor of the "Resident Commissioner" article[1]. I'm usually not a big fan of redundancy, but to a certain degree, it seems both pages have their place. It is certainly worthy of note that Puerto Rico has a very different, governmentally recognized title for their delegates, but I think an explanatory phrase and a prominent reference(link) to information about that difference makes more sense than eliminating the "delegate" page altogether. ~ Ross (ElCharismo) 16:10, 28 February 2006 (UTC)"
I agree that the merger is a bad idea. Every state and territory has an article 'US congress Reps from X' in a consistent tabular format. The present article can talk more about the office itself: when and how was it established; laws governing the office; etc. etc. Since there has not been any discussion in a month, and no additional comments in favor of the merger, I am going to remove the merger tag. I did the same thing for the Philippines, for the same reasons. --G1076 19:53, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
