Respect and Freedom Party → Tisza Party – Per WP:COMMONNAME. This is a case similar to Fidesz, where the acronym is far more used than the complete name. According to Google Trends Tisza is much more popular than the complete name. Moreover, most of the sources use "Tisza Party" or similar: Euronews, Politico, The Guardian, Reuters, BBC, EUobserver. In addition to this, the party itself uses the acronym in its logo and website (magyartisza.hu). Basque mapping (talk) 14:10, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

- Support It is evident that reliable sources use Tisza more than Respect and Freedom Party as its common name. --Vacant0 (talk) 17:59, 18 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support or Tisza (party). --Norden1990 (talk) 09:33, 21 June 2024 (UTC)
I oppose the move and I hope that in the near future we can go back to "Respect and Freedom Party". --Checco (talk) 20:05, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Same! First: Fidesz was not a right example, Alliance of Young Democrats of which Fidesz was the acronym is no longer the name of that party, however, Respect and Freedom is still the name of the TISZA. Second: look at all the articles on this party in other languages, none of them is titled TISZA Party but Respect and Freedom Party. Moving this article was a simple miscalculation. It should be moved back to the previous name. CERBERUS - ii iv iii (talk) 21:25, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
Conflicting founding party dates
editThe abridged version in the top right of the page list the party foundation date of "23 October 2020", but the header of the article and the article section called "History" mentions that "the party was founded in 2021".
This is clearly a contradiction, as the two dates have a difference of at least ~3 months, but I'm more puzzled by why it exists in the first place, as the 23rd of October 2020 isn't even sourced. Is there any source for the 2020 date? If not, why is it so specific? Reaperz 2020 (talk) 14:47, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
