Richard Keigwin (Governor of Bombay) → Richard Keigwin (colonial administrator) – WP:NCDAB / WP:NCPDAB. The current title seems overly role-specific. — BarrelProof (talk) 13:41, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
- I think that Richard Keigwin (governor) is better, as it is shorter (i.e. WP:CONCISE). Bensci54 (talk) 17:37, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
- The guidelines say to use broadly applicable disambiguation terms rather than role-specific ones like "governor". We often pick "politician" or "musician" rather than things like "mayor" or "violinist". — BarrelProof (talk) 18:49, 13 December 2023 (UTC)
- Support. This is the standard disambiguator for officials of the British Empire. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:46, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
