Is this page literally being written by Rick & Morty?
editThere is this section which goes "The season premiered on June 20, 2021. Justin Roiland, who voices the two main characters, said that he would like to air one episode a month ... He reiterated this in March 2021." So, like, he reiterated it before he even said the thing? Did whoever wrote that section go back in time and kill themselves before they had a chance to edit it because it would be funnier this way? Cryptarch (talk) 11:26, 7 July 2021 (UTC)
Please do not remove the unaired episodes
editI came here looking for this information, it is very useful. The reason it's in a separate section is that the air order and air dates have not been released for the remaining (at this point 2) episodes. 157.131.95.172 (talk) 21:06, 28 July 2021 (UTC)
No dedicated pages for episodes 3-7?
editThere are drafts for episodes 3 & 4 though. Please complete them and move them to the main space. Duttakd (talk) 05:16, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
Reception
editI hope Platinum1942 (talk · contribs) will discuss and explain his issues with the Reception section instead of deleting it again.
His first edit removed Rotten Tomatoes and instead added IMDB as a source,[1] despite MOS:TVRECEPTION specifically saying not to use that site, which I tried to explain more clearly on his talk page.[2] His second edit blanked the section,[3] saying it was "deleted due to lack of consensus among page editors" and "20 reviews of 1 episode is by no means appropriate for the "reception " of a a whole season of a tv show."
I am not in any way defending the flaws of Rotten Tomatoes but blanking the section is no way to improve the Reception section or this article. (Rotten Tomatoes provides an imperfect overview but it is better than nothing.) Adding reviews from individual critics might be a better way to improve the section. -- 109.79.80.88 (talk) 23:42, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- There also seems to be a rash of users who are not yet familiar with the project guidelines and other rules and keep trying to add the Rotten Tomatoes audience score which again MOS:TVRECEPTION says is not allowed, and because it is an entirely unreliable WP:USERGENERATED web poll. So more than anything else this comment is to thank the editors who have repeatedly reverted attempts to add audience scores and prevented the Reception section from getting worse. -- 109.76.192.106 (talk) 03:02, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
Episode leak
editEpisode seven (Voltron) was leaked by Amazon prime Canada [4], might be worth mentioning. -- 109.76.205.45 (talk) 23:07, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- Brainfart. My bad, mentioned in the Release section already. -- 109.76.205.45 (talk) 16:15, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
