editSo which was it-- £45,000 or £270,000? It's quite a difference. Marnanel 04:37, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Uncrush?
editWhy is this thing still crushed? If it is made of gold, it could be re-formed to original shape via pneumatic or hydraulic pressure filling, since gold does not suffer faigue and break like iron or alu does. 91.82.27.1 (talk) 12:44, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
- Probably out of the principle of not interfering with how things are- like not rebuilding castles. Perhaps they are afraid that they can't exactly uncrush it to how it was- in the same way as we can't exactly rebuild the castles as they were.
- It would certainly be nice to create an uncrushed version to put next to it, I supposed, although the Rillaton, which is usually next to it on the display is much like it would be :) IceDragon64 (talk) 21:24, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
