Scholarly articles

Any objection to adding a bunch of his articles that are frequently cited as mentioned in Google Scholar [1]? I just added the first one. --David Tornheim (talk) 08:24, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

--Aguita Amarilla (talk) 11:04, 14 September 2023 (UTC) Regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine, i've thouroghly scrutinized the articles, which are already featured on the live article page as of 2023-09-14. When researching on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, i stumbled across an article by Wade from 2014 on this topic. I've spent many hours fact-checking this article as well as the ones already featured. And i conclude that at least in the 2014 article he uses a shady website which also features recently conspiracy-theorists-turned formerly reknown authors like Seymour Hersh. The cited Website not only features Seymour-Hershs latest conspiracies, but as you can see references "RT" as source of the article. RT is the main propaganda channel of the Russian Federation directed at foreign audience worldwide. On the website which Wade cites, this is not at all mentioned. nor do they include contrasting viewpoints, double-check the information using multiple sources etc.... So not only does Wade in his 2014 article use one highly problematic source as well as another source which he cites selectively and twists the original context, but he does this as well in his latest articles regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine. While not everything he states is wrong, his absence of scientific standards regarding sources and his exaggerations make his recent articles highly time-consuming and misleading. End even if you're already so well-informed on the topic, that you become aware of the misleading/conspiratory parts of his seemingly well-written work, it still takes a lot of time to fact-check his use of sources.

To be sure it would be good to make Wiki readers aware of this critical points, so i think it'd be helpful for readers/researchers if we could incorporate this. In any case it is first and foremost intended to prepare you for reading these articles, so you don't spend so much time researching :)

--Aguita Amarilla (talk) 13:08, 14 September 2023 (UTC) Update: In a recent article regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Wade references Jeffrey Sachs, who, as you can read in the wiki about him,

"[...] has appeared on Russia state-run channels, including Vladimir Solovyov's evening show.^[13][14] "

Jeffrey Sachs, whose positions resemble those of Noam Chomsky on these topics, haver recently taken stances in a highly conspiratory not fact-proven ideology-driven direction when talking about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, especially about the backdrops be it geopolitically or historically etc.... They're mixing good points with conspiratory parts and badly researched sources, in order to make their point. Just as it is the problem with Wade.
