editThe first image (results of the mayors) is wrong. In Sibiu, the FDGR had the mayors, not the Greater Romania Party.
Feedback
editI wanted to post some feedback to this article using the tool at the bottom of the page, but I discovered (after writing my comments) that the feedback function is disabled (so, apparently, my comments are lost!!). I'll repeat the comments here.
- the first map of the country showing the political party of the winners appears either to refer to the results of the first round only, or to be incomplete. There is however no mention of this anywhere. The color for "independent" candidates appears to cover two thirds of the map, which is obviously wrong and misleading.
- parts of the text seem to expect past events: "will meet in the run-off"; "campaign will start on 31 January 2009"
- the election results summary should really appear first in the page, as it is the most important piece of information.
- the structure is bewildering: introduction; partial map of mayors (after first round?); first round; final results for county councils; final results for mayors, but titled "runoff" and sprinkled with local problems; notable partial election section with almost no useful information
- what the structure probably should be: introduction; final results for mayors; final results for county councils; optional brief mention of first round results; problems that occurred in some constituencies, any replacement elections with their actual results included
