The article says " She got her name "Rukmini" through her family's closeness to the Indian theosophist Rukmini Devi Arundale, founder of Kalakshetra Foundation in Chennai, India/"
On twitter, when someone pointed out this to her, Rukmini responded by saying " Close. My godmother was Rukmini Devi Arundale". See her below tweet.

Can someone edit it accordingly mentioning that Rukmini Devi Arundale was her godmother and she was named after her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.48.191.235 (talk) 18:11, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

What maker a poet by occupation?
editIf you publish a few poems when young, but earn no money from that, are you a poet by occupation? Dadofsam (talk) 03:08, 21 December 2016 (UTC)
Fake stories?
editWhy no mention of her fake stories as determined by her publisher (the New York Time), bullying and misrepresenting sources, and the reconsideration of awards related to these stories? See [1] amd [2] for confirmation. The Caliphate section of this article should be rewritten to point out that the main source has been charged with creating a terrorist hoax including in Callimachi's reports, that the Times has retracted the story due to an inability to validate any of the facts, and maybe pointing out the Foley family's charges that they were bullied and essentially blackmailed into participating in her reporting.

It is wikipedia. You can do the rewrite.
