Talk:SSX (2012 video game)
Reception
editA Reception section - already? I realise reception to the serious tone of the trailer has been poor amongst the general public, but there's only one brief comment on the tone from a reliable third-party source about it, so I don't think it is reasonable to put a reception section so early. - This is fine, it doesn't constitute a full section just yet, but the general reception should definitely be included somewhere as long as it's from reliable sources. 82.41.203.134 (talk) 15:06, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- ...which is exactly the opposite of the section at hand — plus the hostility has attracted vandals. I reverted the vandalism and added an unreferenced box; hopefully someone who is above the controversy can actually cite references. - PGSONIC (talk) 19:45, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
Introduction
editNeeds to be fixed (what happened there?!) and revised. The two "Making of" videos suggest the opposite of people's initial impressions; the over-the-top fantasy vibe from the previous games appears very much intact. The videos show concept art of fantasy mountain locations and trick animations which are wholely impossible to perform in real life.

Upcoming title
editIsn't it now called "SSX : Deadly Descents"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.142.252.114 (talk) 20:01, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- The game was originally titled SSX: Deadly Descents, but it has since been changed to simply SSX. Fezmar9 (talk) 20:14, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

Re: the statement "The main bulk of the game is the World Tour mode". This simply isn't so. World Tour is actually a minor part of the game, consisting of only a selected few of the tracks and taking very little time to complete. Explore & Online modes are by far the biggest part of the game.
