- Agreed. English names would also usually capitalize the "c" in "castle" here. Saladin is also a typical and consistent English version of "Salah ad-Din/Salah el-Din". There are also a lot of fortifications built by Salah ad-Din in other places, so individual places need to be titled in a more distinctive way to avoid confusion.
