Incorrect article name?
editThe article and the name of the method is written as "Schneurle" porting. However, the inventor is identified as "Schnürle", which is normally written as "Schnuerle" without german umlaut characters. Therefore it seems possible that "Schneurle" is a misspelling of "Schnuerle" (What other reason for such change could exist?) If so, the article should be renamed. --arny (talk) 08:24, 2 June 2009 (UTC)
Seems to have been corrected So, the article title is correct. Also see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_orthography
Diagram?
editThis article desperately needs a diagram to help explain the topic. Captain Quirk (talk) 18:23, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Schnuerle porting. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20090616071821/http://www.doddington-kent.org.uk:80/Planecrazy/schnuerle.htm to http://www.doddington-kent.org.uk/planecrazy/schnuerle.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

Removal of lead rewrite template
editThis article has had a "lead rewrite" template at the top since 2010. Now (2024) the lead seems to me to meet Wikipedia standards in clarity and referencing etc, so I propose we remove the lead rewrite. Anybody care? I'll give it a while before acting. The article taught me what I need to know about two-stroke scavenging as well as Schnuerle port theory :) p.r.newman (talk) 09:11, 1 November 2024 (UTC)
