The result of the move request was: consensus to move the page as requested, per the discussion below. There is a slight preference here for "(radio personality)" over "(radio presenter)", and it also has the small advantage of being the original location of the page until 2007, whereas "(radio presenter)" has always been a redlink.   @StraussInTheHouse: I would've closed this had you not made this mild objection, so I've relisted. But there should be clarification on this; "personality" in this context is not peacocky of any sort. It's synonymous with 'presenter' and we already have many articles using it John Richards (radio personality), James Golden (radio personality), John Bell (radio personality) and Tom Campbell (radio personality) just to give a few, and we have a whole Category:Radio personalities by nationality which has more of examples across countries. Also note the article about the profession itself sits at Radio personality while Radio presenter redirects there. –Ammarpad (talk) 06:12, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

• Support for WP:CONSISTENCY, as similar articles use (radio personality), while articles disambiguated (radio) are dissimilar to this one. However the "Scott Riggs isn't a radio" principle doesn't appear to generalise; e.g. the standard convention for basketball players is (basketball), hence Craig Robinson (basketball) even though "Craig Robinson isn't a basketball". 59.149.124.29 (talk) 14:20, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

  • It certainly implies it. It has Roger Taylor (Queen drummer) and Roger Taylor (Duran Duran drummer) instead of Roger Taylor (Queen) and Roger Taylor (Duran Duran). In none of the given examples does it suggest disambiguating with any term that doesn't describe what the person actually is. • Note - A WP:ENGVAR distinction needs to be made here. "Radio personality" is most common in American radio, whereas "radio presenter" is used elsewhere.
