– The full name for this edition is Secret Story: Casa dos Segredos with the parent article currently located at Secret Story (Portuguese TV series). When looking for sources in regards to this edition the common name that is used by the broadcaster and press for the main seasons is often Secret Story. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
All seasons above except for season one have numbers in their name. This is seen in the opening title sequence and I uploaded the logos for each season to their respective article. The naming convention currently used by the production company, production team and broadcaster is very consistant here. The press will commonly refer to the first season as Secret Story 1. Because of this the current naming convention of Secret Story # for all seasons adhers the article titles policy and WP:NCUE guidelines. The current naming convention also matches reliable sources that can be found to improve the articles and meet WP:V.
The main issue here is how the articles are currently disambiguated. Due to disambiguation pages and redirects in place these articles do need to be disambiguated to avoid confusion with Secret Story (French TV series) season articles. It has been decided that WP:BIGBRO's current naming convention is incorrect and should not be used however WP:NCTV is not clear on how to handle a situation like this. I'm proposing that the articles use the disambig tag of (Portuguese season) because it is very similar to the exiting convention of Country season # that WP:NCTV currently uses. The only change is moving the number out of the disambig tag to be part of the actual name. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 19:02, 5 December 2018 (UTC)
- Support per nom. If we go by the article name style of "Secret Story #" then disambiguating by "Portuguese season" is the best viable option. --Gonnym (talk) 07:44, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
- I guess I'll support. I don't love this solution, and it's "non-standard", but it's better than the current arrangement. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 13:17, 6 December 2018 (UTC)
