Is there a certain day for senior skip day? If so what day?
no there isnt
No. As a high school senior myself with our skip day being tomorrow, all seniors get together and decide on a day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.131.211.111 (talk) 20:52, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
At my school, senior skip day is always the friday before prom. Also, about 1/8 of the freshmen skip, as well as 1/3 of the sophomores, and 4/5 of the juniors. So it's more of a schoolwide skip day
Senior skip day at my school was always on whatever day was equal to you grad. year. I graduated in 1995, so we took the 95th day of school off. 1996 took the 96th day, and so on. 2011 would be the 111th day of school. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.218.175.127 (talk) 19:45, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
At my school it's tradition for it to be on the Monday after Prom. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.70.26.136 (talk) 19:50, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
- At my high school we have a skip day before every holiday or long weekend. We skip the day before christmas break, summer break, march break, easter, victoria day, Canada day, and any other holiday. Senior Skip Day → Senior skip day – This isn't a proper noun or a holiday as the article suggests. Marcus Qwertyus (talk) 10:40, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:CRITERIA (specifically consistency). It's not a real holiday or anything, but this move would make it the only uncapitalized day in Category:Unofficial observances. --BDD (talk) 21:34, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
