Jewish and Irish?
It's a big surprise to discover that Seth Green is Jewish. I would have guessed he was Irish, given the flaming red hair and the name "Green." Is it possible that he's Irish as well, like Bill Maher? --M.Neko 10:39, 20 June 2007 (UTC)reported
Green isn't a particularly Irish name. Maybe if his name was Seth Shamrock or Seth Leprechaun I would believe you. 169.233.8.199 (talk) 07:46, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Nothing's impossible, but a hell of a lot of German and Jewish immigrants to America changed their names from "Grün" (meaning "green") to "Green" or from "Müller" to "Miller" and so on. The surname is hardly a clue. -Duribald (talk) 13:29, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Rally's
Would it be worth including his role as the "Cha-ching!" kid in the Rally's TV commercials, or is that just trivia?
--Arteitle 15:20 27 May 2003 (UTC)
- It's something. It's addable. Go ahead.Zeppocity 23:30, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
Best known from Buffy?
I was taken aback by the "best known from Buffy the Vampire Slayer" comment in the intro. Never having watched the series, I had no idea he was even in it. I personally "know him best" as Scott Evil, but I wouldn't put that in the article either. Sounds pov to me. I'll fix another time. --Easter Monkey 02:28, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
- The idea is probably that only in terms of screen time, he has appeared more in Buffy than anywhere else. Besides he became quite an important character, hence the comment. If you take into account his committment to the series, the sentence makes sense. But seeing your point, maybe it could be rephrased differently. -Abaraibar 09:22, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
- MMMmm. He's not quite the type of person where any one thing reaches/brings-him-to-attention of everyone (anyone?) who knows of him or recognizes him. BTW - the first place I ever saw him was on (host of) clips in-between shows on a (Buffalo?) fox affiliate. These clips were aimed at kids and youths, aired between cartoons in the late afternoon. This was in the mid 90's. But there's no mention of that here or on his official site, and I can't (easily) find any references either. But I definitely remember it. 65.95.237.214 19:57, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

BIO
Is there anymore that we can add to his personal life or bio?--Twintone 21:03, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Bill Mumy
I nominate the removal of the last paragraph. I don't think the comparison to Bill Mumy is relevant to Seth's biography. In fact, it seems as if the article becomes a Bill Mumy bio instead of a Seth Green bio. Either way it's very un-encyclopediac. --Mothh 04:50, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
I'd support removal as well. It's irrelevant, unless there actually is a citation somewhere to that effect.
--User: Calibanu Calibanu 13.03, 27 Jnuary 2007
- I removed that stuff about Bill Mumy because it was weird. He isn't Seth Green, and Seth isn't Bill either, so there's no point. --Tony Sidaway 10:25, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

intro
The intro article is inadequately short. Could someone expand it significantly.--Macca7174 21:39, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Homosexuality Reference
I can find no reference online to Seth Green being a homosexual. Even if he is, "admitting" to being one makes him sound like a criminal. I will change the phrasing, but could someone please provide the reference? LLP 02:48, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- The one who added that to the article has been vandalizing a few articles recently. I reverted his addition as it's unsourced and probably just vandalism. - TexMurphy 05:19, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Sweet J Presents
Anyone remember this short lived Atom Film's effort? It was a pre-cursor to Robot Chicken. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.67.208.167 (talk) 21:47, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Definitely. The Robot Chicken page also has a mention about this. In fact, I swear I remember seeing an entire video (narrated by Seth and the other guy) talking all about this and the origins. I believe it was included on the DVD, and may be found as "episode 0".
Cellist?
Is he really a classically trained cellist? It sounds a bit like vandalism to me. --79.66.25.190 13:10, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- It is probably vandalism. I can't find any info on him being a cellist. Tagged it for now and we can remove it if no one finds citation. -Duribald 13:24, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
Fingerpuppet Sluts
I removed it from his Filmography, sounds like vandalism, as well as the name of the character "Mar Hrecznyj" If it wasn't vandalism, sorry. 67.82.239.20 23:26, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism
Someone has vandalized this page with alot of chris crocker references. Im trying to revert back to a previous date without any vandalismSatanical Eve 15:22, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Yes, the Chris Crocker kiddies hate criticism. They'll go away soon enough. Move for semi-protection in the meantime. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.254.204.146 (talk) 01:01, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
I agree with the semi-protection suggestion. -Duribald 02:21, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Speaking of, is that even Seth Green in the Chris Crocker parody? If that's going to be mentioned, I think there should be some citation of sorts. 71.146.167.35 (talk) 18:50, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

From Conan
Just as FYI, on Seth's April 23th appearance on Conan O'Brien, Conan showed Seth's driver's license, dated 1/11/08. The DL shows Seth with a moustache. Seth said he and Tom Root (one of the Robot Chicken writers) had lost a bet over New Year's, and had to grow moustaches. Seth said he wanted to document having the moustache, so had his new DL pic taken with the 'stache. The DL shows Seth's height as 5'11" and weight as 120 lbs. It lists his name as only Seth Benjamin Green, with no reference to the Gesshel that appears in the article. Seth had previously taped over the personal information, such as address and DL number, expecting to show the DL on the air. -FeralDruid (talk) 21:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
He is quite obviously not 5'11", unless everyone he's stood near has been abnormally tall. 69.221.122.136 (talk) 01:44, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
Heroes
I've added a line about his being cast on Heroes for the upcoming season, with citation. I understand he's also to be on Chuck, so if anyone can add that with citation, go for it. Umbralcorax (talk) 07:24, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
Locked? Then fix grammar
If this article is going to be locked (although I have no idea why it is), can we at least fix this?
"He is also known voices the character of Chris Griffin on Family Guy, Flight Lieutenant Jeff "Joker" Moreau in the 2007 video game Mass Effect, and is the co-creator and producer of the stop motion comedy series Robot Chicken. "
Parents' divorce/Camp Harlam/acting
The way the article is currently written, it sounds like his parents got a divorce when he was 15, which caused "havoc in his personal life" leading to him to take refuge at Camp Harlam where he reinvented himself and took up an interest in acting. Except he started acting at 8. If you read it enough times you get it that he started going to the camp 10 years prior to the divorce, but the way it's written now makes it sound as though while he'd gone to the camp a long time it was in the wake of the divorce he took up acting as a way to escape the "havoc" in his life.

Raised Jewish
The sources given do not indicate that this was really the case. Source 2 is only a question whether he is Jewish, and the answer is no, that is, he claims to be of different ethnic background. Source 3 does contain the statement "I was raised Jewish, but I don't know" within the text, but it was made under the initials of SM (Susan Messing) and not under SG. 94.253.206.136 (talk) 18:18, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

- Perfect example of Wikipedia Biographies of Living Persons WP:BLP policy: even if it is really you (and with just an IP odds are it isn't), we can't put stuff into articles unless it's supported by a Reliable Source WP:RS. So if the real Seth Green doesn't like his wikipedia bio, he needs to do an interview with some reliable news organization like Gawker or the New York Times and make sure that it makes it into the article so we can quote it. Or put it into your Official Bio on your Official Web Site and then either change the article with the citation yourself or get a friend to change it. 131.96.13.213 (talk) 03:10, 28 July 2012 (UTC)

Should we keep his Jewish heritage?
Although he is Jewish, should we keep it here? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:387:1:811:0:0:0:AD (talk) 22:50, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Why do you think it should be removed?LakesideMinersMy Talk Page 22:53, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
Because it seems that SNUGGUMS, Amaury, IJBall, Geraldo Perez, etc wants it removed, despite the fact that it is sourced. A problem with many Wikipedians is that they don’t realize that Jews are an ethnic group.76.187.211.251 (talk) 06:55, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
- No, it was NOT a sourced addition. Don't try to mislead others like that. That claim isn't supported here at all as he simply states "According to my folks, I'm Russian, Scottish and Polish. Which means I can drink heavily, can't tan, and occasionally put screen doors on submarines." We can't just distort details in ways that the citation doesn't even suggest. Is there a chance if anyone can remove his “voice artist” occupation in the infobox and in the first sentence of the article? Because the term “Actor” already covers his voice over work, it is also a subset of acting.
As shown here:

The other occupation that needs to be removed is “comedian”, because he isn’t known for being funny. His career section says nothing about him doing comedy or stand-up comedy in general. Can “comedian” please be removed from his occupation section and in the first sentence of the article? Because like I said before, he isn’t known for being funny and he never did comedy or stand-up comedy. 73.61.17.9 (talk) 14:57, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
