Requested semi-protection
editI think this page needs semi-protection against the vandal (an unregistered parent with a complaint of the treatment his daughter received, also adding names to alumnae who appear not to have gone to the school, see History). Unfortunately I could understand how or where to request this or who from. Sorry about that. Bmcln1 (talk) 19:12, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- I've protected it. The person who wants the information should reply here with rationale. Wikipedia is not Yelp or other review site, it needs reliable sources. Also, the addition is not vandalism, though it isn't encyclopedic. tedder (talk) 16:52, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
I am extremely disappointed my review has been deleted. This particular school is performing materially below par and at 30k a year my expectations were not met by a substantial margin. This school has failed repeatedly to address bullying. I have a duty to warn as many prospective parents as possible. The teaching needs to be addressed also in many areas. The sick bay is good however and care here is good —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.145.51.245 (talk) 07:51, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia which includes verifiable facts. It is not a forum for review, it is not a place to express opinion. There are many other places where you can (and should) do that if you feel the school is failing to live up to its promises or duty of care to its pupils, but Wikipedia is not one of them. --Simple Bob a.k.a. Religion.
editIs the school catholic, CofE, or secular? 20040302 (talk) 08:28, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- It's Anglican, and it promotes Anglicanism. http://vle.sherborne.com/religious-studies/theology-and-religious-studies-rationale-aims-and-objectives (20040302 (talk))
