Series or Seasons?

edit

Is there some sort of British difference in how seasons of a series are listed as such, because all four seasons of Sherlock are each called a series, despite the infobox saying the usual "Season". I tried to search for this online, to no avail. Should Series 1, Series 2, etc. be corrected to Season 1, Season 2, etc.? Or are they already correct, in which case is it prudent to mention this difference to anyone who doesn't immediately understand this nomenclature? Mousenight (talk) 04:32, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

In Britain, the terminology is "series". See the BBC website. DonQuixote (talk) 04:57, 14 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Under heading Reception, subheading critical response. The last paragraph includes the sentence "One in particular pointed out that sociopath is just an outdated term for psychopath, the fact that psychopaths do not admit their psychopathy, and that in general Sherlock does not evidence psychopathic behaviour." This statement is not medical fact, but rather the opinion of one psychologist (the author of the linked article -- Maria Konnikova), who provides no evidence, nor cites any research to support her beliefs as fact. While it is true that there is active research being done on the medical diagnosis of sociopathy, and the characterization of psychopathy, and the overlap between the two, 'no psychiatric or psychological organization has sanctioned a diagnosis titled "psychopathy"...'([1]). As such, these details should be treated as a quote from this article, and endorsed as beliefs, but not facts. 69.178.70.92 (talk) 06:51, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure I see the problem here. It's the Reception section. Wikipedia isn't making any claims about the truth of what they said; we're only claiming that they said it. 3mi1y (talk) 07:16, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

New Complete Series DVD Box Set Released

edit

I have just recently acquired a Sherlock The Complete Series Box Set from my local walmart for $35 USD. Its Plastic Wrap had a Release code Sticker of June 2023. I do not have the sticker anymore but i can provide pictures of the box set as proof if needed to confirm its existence so that it may be added to the Home Media Release Page. In the infobox, please replace the plain text "Single camera" with the more useful link to the Single-camera setup article, "[[Single-camera setup|Single-camera]]" since that term of art is not explained in the body of the article. 98.207.38.69 (talk) 04:44, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
