Reason for existing
editThis page needs to exist as the contrast to the page on multi-chip modules as multi-chip modules are pretty much defined by **not** being single chip modules. I am having trouble finding good sourcing, despite NXP and IBM both referring to their chips as such. Torpcoms (talk) 03:36, 27 August 2017 (UTC)
- Take care that this is not just a Neologism. I must admit that I am having trouble understanding what is special about a "chip package with only one die". Isn't that how most IC's are constructed, i.e. one piece of silicon inside one package? Derek Andrews (talk) 22:06, 27 October 2017 (UTC)
