Slavonic Josephus seems to contradict The New Testament in it's Jesus and John the Baptist references
editWhich is a fact that people wanting to make it a Christian forgery ignore.
At any-rate I wish I could read it for myself instead of depending on scholars with Agenda talking about it, especially it's account of the Magi. But no English Translation exists.--JaredMithrandir (talk) 17:14, 21 May 2016 (UTC)
There is no medieval English translation
editIn Middle English there are mass borrowings or foreigners from Latin, Norman and so-called Old French. The latter was considered a "high language".
Moreover, for the Middle Ages with its "mass culture", this story was like that of another galaxy. Therefore, the possible translation was only in Old Bulgarian in Preslav during the time of Simeon the Great. The most interesting thing about the history of "Jewish history" is that it was translated earlier into Old Bulgarian than into Hebrew. 213.149.159.237 (talk) 10:38, 13 December 2019 (UTC)
