Small Flowery Miao → Small Flowery Miao language – This is a language branch, so as with all other WP articles about language branches, it should be titled Small Flowery Miao languages rather than Small Flowery Miao. Lingnanhua (talk) 14:09, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP:NCLANG:
Articles on language varieties (i.e. languages, dialects or sociolects) can be titled with the bare name of the variety where this is unambiguous (e.g. Bokmål) or where it is unquestionably the primary topic for the name (e.g. Arabic, Kannada, Arvanitika). In other cases, where the language is not the primary topic, a natural disambiguator like "... language" is preferred (e.g. French language).
While the guidance is not absolute, I don't see a pressing reason to deviate from it in this case. No such user (talk) 12:21, 28 December 2020 (UTC)

Small Flowery Miao → Gha-Mu language – Gha-Mu is how the people refer to themselves, see Gha-Mu people. "Language" must be added to the title, since "Miao" or "Gha-Mu", and so on, can easily refer to both the people and the language, such as Small Flowery Miao (language) vs. Small Flowery Miao people. "Language" also needs to be added per WP:TITLECON (Consistency – The title is consistent with the pattern of similar articles' titles), one of the 5 key pillars of WP:NC. In the past, this was not discussed by enough people since there was only one voter. For the sake of consistency with all the other articles in Category:Hmongic languages, including Mashan Miao language, Guiyang Miao language, Huishui Miao language, and Luobohe Miao language, it is best to move to Gha-Mu language.
