Comments for Pages

Hello all! Nice job! A couple of things that I would like to point out:

History Page

edit

Please add in pictures of John Weisz and Alan Ross. Again, please check if it is legal to post these pictures of Wikimedia Commons. If you're unsure, please send me the link to those images.

Membership Page

edit

I have gone through this page to edit for non-encyclopaedic content. Please ensure that the content that you upload is not self-promoting in any way.

Let's add Regular member, student member as other categories besides Fellow; and perhaps add links to the membership page on the Division 53 web site. Thanks! Prof. Eric A. Youngstrom (talk) 01:34, 24 March 2015 (UTC) Here's the link to the category descriptions: [2] and the link to the "Join Division 53" is on that page, too. Prof. Eric A. Youngstrom (talk) 01:36, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Student Resources

edit

Please add in more detailed information, and include a couple of specific awards that are available via SCCAP. Ongmianli (talk) 18:40, 19 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

HealthPro

After discussion with the leadership of the Division, the leadership suggested removing this section entirely, and so we did. I personally think it is better as a Wikipedia entry without it. Thanks, all! Prof. Eric A. Youngstrom (talk) 15:17, 10 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Declaring potential conflict of interest

edit

Hello, as the creator of the page (with my team), I would like to declare a potential conflict of interest. I am a member of the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and also happen to be a doctoral student in clinical psychology. Please let me know if there are other conflicts that I might need to disclose. Ongmianli (talk) 14:58, 10 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

In addition to this note, I would like to disclose that I am actively involved in this page as a paid editor by the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. Please refer to my userpage for more information about my disclosure. Ongmianli (talk) 19:34, 27 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
To elaborate, Mian Li Ong was the graduate student supported by a grant from SSCAP to the University of North Carolina for the purpose of working to improve information about the best free assessment tools available that could complement the information on EffectiveChildTherapy.org and as well as on the society web pages. The grant was renewed for a second year and concluded in 2018. I was the principal investigator on the grant. Prof. Eric A. Youngstrom (talk) 17:31, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Rapid Grant Proposal: Leveraging Wiki Platforms for Academic Conferences

edit

Hello! I am a member of the H-GAPS User Group and our goal is to share information from psychological conferences onto Wiki platforms. We are hoping to create a toolkit/template for psychological conferences to use to disseminate information on Wiki platforms. To support this project, we are applying for a Rapid Grant through the Wikimedia Foundation, and you are welcome to review the draft here: Leveraging Wiki Platforms for Academic Conferences. We welcome any questions, feedback, and endorsements! Please feel free to contact us at ncharamut@hgaps.org with any questions or feedback. Thank you, Hokuno (talk) 00:06, 18 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
