I think the term "Anglo Papalist" tends to be too widely applied these days. The Society of SS Peter & Paul indeed advocated ceremonial conformity to the Tridentine rite, it was also very loyal to the Book of Common Prayer and never ever encouraged the use of the Latin rite in its place. The Anglican Missal it published places far more priority on the BCP than its rival the Knott English Missal, which is a wholesale translation of the Latin Missal with the BCP texts interpolated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.232.162.14 (talk • contribs)
