Mozart's use of Sonata de chiesa

Is the article referring to Mozart's "Church Sonatas"? Mozart's pieces are brief single-movement works that were indeed meant to be played in church. They were not multiple movement works in slow-fast-slow-fast format. Is there an ambiguity here that should be clarified? DavidRF 19:18, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

These are contradictory statements. Since Sonata da chiesa is frequently played during Religious ceremonies they were composed with the function to be performed in religious ceremonies.
