Comments for B-class
editHere are some more in-depth comments for what this article ought to include for B-class:
- The construction info should be included in the service history section, not the technical section. Done
- So should the later aspects of the ship's career Done
- According to this, the ship was in Santiago de Cuba as of April 1898 (the month the Spanish-American War broke out) - did the ship take any part in the fighting? Done
- Per here, the ship was in Spanish waters, serving in the main squadron in 1894. Done There are no doubt other sources that can be used to cover the history of the ship more fully.
Not necessary for B-class, but some other comments:
- References ought to be standardized Done
- The boilers weren't 4-cylinder, but 4 cylindrical boilers, another term for Scotch marine boilers Done
- A lot of things to link: displacement, draft, etc. Done
- Do we know what measure of length we're talking about? More than likely length between perpendiculars. I don't have Conway's in front of me to check. Parsecboy (talk) 12:03, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- @Parsecboy: Unfortunately, I don't know, and I currently have no access to Conway's.Tomandjerry211 (Let's have a chat) 13:25, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- Don't know why that didn't ping me - anyway, send me an email and I'll send you the relevant page in Conway's. Parsecboy (talk) 19:31, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
