St. Julian
editThe comment on St. Julian (the saint) is irrelevant. Maltesedog 20:15, 30 October 2005 (UTC)
- Note some discussion on Wikipedia:Malta-related topics notice board (but I suggest that it be discussed here on the StJ's page). Furthermore, Saint Julian (for discussion) was a page removed because of copyvio. Srl 17:44, 18 November 2005 (UTC)
Pro memoria
editApart from the wikification here are some points that could help in future edits (ex. the town table):
- motto: Litoris Aquas Sinvato Margine Cinge (with land I embrace the waterline)
- coat of arms: argent three pellets gules (a silver shield with three narrow vertical red stripes)
- the natural harbor was also used to connect to Valletta, Balluta Bay and The Strand (Sliema)
- ~72% of tourists visiting St Julian's are British (compared to the 35% of tourists in Malta being British)
- a curious fact: tourists visiting St. Julian's ages 55-64 = 25%, 65+ = 38%. visiting Malta ages 55-64 = 15%, 65+ = 12%.
I recently came by my SEC Geography project with some good information which I can add in the future. Info above is from an MTA survey of 2001.
San Giljan
editCan some1 edit this page so that San Giljan would also lead to St. Julians? Keith Azzopardi 13:33, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
I have been thinking maybe it would be better to rename the article "San Giljan" with "St. Julian's" leading to it, instead of vice-versa.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keith Azzopardi (talk • contribs) 19:51, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
