Steel and Industrial Forgings Ltd is one of the companies which was established by Kerala government to produce high quality forgings for the industry. It is the only forging company owned by a state government in India. It produces components for ISRO for their satellites. It has the highest quality standard which was certified by DGQA, DGAQA, Ministry of Defence and Govt. of India. It has won Kerala's Best PSU Award Winner in 2006 - 2007, 2007- 2008.
