Youngest general?

edit

Boatner has both John Kelly and John Kennedy becoming B.G. CSA at the age of 24. Does anyone have a source for the assertion that Ramseur was the youngest CSA general? Gibblet 05:41, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have added clarifications to the article. Thanks for finding the problem. It is interesting to note that there were two generals named John H. Kelly in the Civil War: one Union, one Confederate. Hal Jespersen 00:08, 20 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
It should be specified that he was the youngest MAJOR GENERAL of CSA not youngest general. 2600:6C5E:7009:600:1DB2:6291:8AFC:26ED (talk) 02:16, 12 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
